Alain Costaz is an artist-printmaker living and working in Victoria, B.C. A member of the Atelier Libre de Recherches Graphiques, (ALRG), printmaking studio of la Guilde Graphique, he focused on etching, worked with master-printer Luc Nadeau, and was studio coordinator from 1991 to 93.
In 1993 he began working at Ground Zero, Victoria's printmaking co-op studio, and joined Xchanges Artist-run Centre, serving on the board of both organizations.
Alain Costaz was a facilitator/technician in etching and lithography at the ALRG, a class instructor at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, teaches drawing privately and gives courses and workshops in printmaking at Ground Zero.
